By downloading or using Notelux ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Notelux is an AI-powered study companion that transforms lectures, PDFs, images, and YouTube videos into structured notes, flashcards, and quizzes. The App uses third-party AI services (OpenAI) to process your content.

2. Account

An anonymous account is created automatically when you first open the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your device.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier: Includes 3 AI note generations per day, 5 minutes of voice transcription per day, and 3 AI chat messages per day. Translation and PDF export features require a Pro subscription.

Notelux Pro: Available as a weekly ($4.99/week) or yearly ($39.99/year) auto-renewable subscription.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated tools to access the App's services
• Upload harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

5. AI-Generated Content

Notes, flashcards, quizzes, and other content generated by AI are provided for educational purposes only. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify important information independently. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the App. You grant us a limited license to process your content through our AI services solely to provide the App's functionality. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OzTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
